hmm
haven't been here for a really long time.
anw.
nth much happened last week except
1) getting back of test papers
2) i won $300 yesterday! ka-ching! xD

okay so
number one was quite good (:
everything was within expectations but bio was an especially pleasant surprise.
haha ((:
i got a sticker!! which evil xin lei attempted to peel from my paper. but of course i stopped her in time :p

and number two!
it was easy money! :p
won it during the fuji xerox open water comp yesterday.
swam the 3k race with christel.
got second and christel got first.
not bad for my first time swimming in the sea i must say (:
it was really fun!
besides the gross oil patches and really scratchy sea weed and the bumping into random floating objects and people.
i thought it was quite relaxing but maybe that was cuz i wasn't actually racing, just swimming along.
haha.
3k in the sea seems much faster than 3k in the pool!
even though in the pool i take several minutes less to complete it.
its really more exciting in the sea.
but maybe open water's not my thing cuz im not aggressive enough.
the beginning was really funny!
cuz we have to run into the sea from the beach.
so when they flagged us off christel and chriselle were like charging into the sea, then after that me and wanting were just following behind.
then for the first round around the circuit (500m) we kept banging into each other cuz of the supid waves. :p
and when we came up onto the beach to run to the starting point for our second round, we were like smiling cuz it was just so amusing. :p
and the diving into the sea from the beach is REALLY FUN.
you run really fast and then leap from the shore headfirst into the waves.
WOAH.
that was like my favourite part of the race. :p
